On Saturday
7th of August 2010 a sponsored leisure cycle will take place in memory
of Fr. Colm O'Brien.
The cycle will Start at St. Peters and Pauls Church, Clonmel, and travel to St. Pauls Church, Waterford finishing at The Holy Cross Parish of Tramore (Tramore GAA Club). These were the three Parishs that were closest to Fr. Colm's heart.
The cycle will be held in two stages to cater for all levels of fitness:
Stage 1: Clonmel to Tramore via St. Pauls.
Stage 2: St. Pauls to Tramore.
For anyone who is unable to cycle we would ask them to come along and welcome home the cyclists from 3.00 pm onwards, there will be music, light refreshments, and a raffle at Tramore GAA club. All are welcome!
All proceeds from this cycle will go to The South Eastern Cancer Foundation.
